Pick Up Curbside Crafts for Black History Month

Celebrate Black History Month by visiting these branches during Curbside hours and picking up activities and crafts for children of all ages!

Washington Park Library

Attached is a Curbside Freedom Quilt Craft-in-a-Bag which will be distributed for the Month of February during Curbside Hours. Families will receive a  quilt pattern to color, cut out and arrange on a poster board paper. The instructions will be inside the bag with the needed supplies.  

Wolf Creek Library

Wolf Creek has a craft and activity packet highlighting notable figures of Black History. We will give it out the whole month.

East Roswell Library

 Black History Month Book Bundles

Throughout February, we have youth book bundles highlighting African-Americans and African-American history.  Book bundles are available for children ages 4-10.  Please specify the reading level when requesting a book pack.

College Park Library

Black History Month Take-Away- Craft

Kids will discover famous African Americans who followed their dreams and inspired others to do the same in a Take-A-Way Craft Bag.  Children  will then create their own American dream collage using quotes and pictures of famous African Americans as well as images that show what  their dream and envision are in life.
