Atlanta Science Tavern : “Break the Cycle of Environmental Health Disparities”

Join the library system online at the Atlanta Science Tavern this Saturday, Dec 19th at 7:00 PM EST. This month a panel of experts will be discussing the cycle of poverty and its effects on one’s environment. The panel will consider how COVID-19 has highlighted this vicious cycle.

The panel will also discuss the journey required to help break the cycle: "The journey begins with one step, and there are several positive things we can all do, right now, to create change and build good habits that are healthy for us, our communities, AND the earth."

This Atlanta Science Tavern will feature a panel discussion about successful programs and how these can be translated to other locations throughout Georgia.

Library resources on these topics can be found here and will be made available at the end of the Panel's Discussion.
