As the new Youth Services librarian, I had to be ready to get started quickly! National Library Week took place during my second full week of work. I knew there wasn't time yet to create and promote a program, so I prepared grab and go crafts for kids to create their own corner bookmarks. Every kit was taken, which was a change from my old library, so it made me excited to create more grab and go kits for the future!
