Adult Learning at Central

The Central Library is currently closed for renovation.  We look forward to offering state-of-the-art event space, art galleries, library programming and more.  Stay tuned for the new Central Library in early 2021.

Computer Classes for Adults:

Free introductory computer classes are available.

Language, Literacy Services, ESL Classes and ESL Conversation Groups:

ESL instruction is offered in a traditional classroom environment. Classes range from beginner – for people with little or no experience with English – to high-intermediate. Classes are free; however, registration is required. ESL classes are offered weekdays.

Adult Literacy Services – Adults, if you need help with improving your basic reading skills, we match volunteer tutors with adult learners. Adults are matched based on the time availability of tutors.

Classes meet in the Learning and Training Center, 2nd Floor of the Central Library.

See our Adult Learning Resources in our Digital Library.
