The Fulton County Library System, in partnership with Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS) and other agencies, offers passes for free admission to a number of fantastic attractions in the Atlanta metro area, Macon, and more! The GPLS partnership also gives patrons access to take-home kits like the radon detector kit and the Kill-A-Watt meter. FulcoLibrary Passes and Kits
Alliance Theatre:
When checked out and used to purchase tickets to an Alliance performance, the Pass is good for up to two (2) admissions tickets for performances designated for the Hertz Stage and the Coca Cola Stage or for four (4) admissions/tickets for performances designated as Family Series.
Patrons check out the Pass and use the code on the Pass to purchase tickets at alliancetheatre.org. The promo code is entered before selecting the desired performance date on the Alliance Theatre website and should be entered in the right-hand corner of the screen.
Tickets for performances are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Community Ticket Pass MUST be presented at the Alliance Theatre along with the ticket receipt for the performance.
Patrons using the Community Pass must use their pass during the circulation period and can only book tickets for an Alliance production up to fourteen (14) days from the checkout date. The pass may not be used for other performances, classes, camps, programming, or events.

Kill-A-Watt Meter Kit
A patron checks out the meter, takes it home, and plugs their appliances and electronic devices into the meter instead of the wall outlet directly. By doing so, they are shown how many kilowatts hours (kWh) that particular appliance or electronic device uses, whether it is switched on, running, idle or in standby mode. This further allows the patron to determine the dollar amount it costs them to keep that particular appliance or device plugged in.

Radon Project Kit
The Radon Project Kit is part of a GPLS partnership with the University of Georgia Extension. Each radon kit contains two QR codes: one leads patrons to an instructional video, while the other directs patrons to a website to submit their results. If patrons report their findings to the UGA Extension, the data will be used in scientific research and to raise awareness of radon levels in Georgia. The QR codes can be found in the How To Guide. Radon testing within a home takes two weeks.

Shakespeare Tavern
The Family Theatre Pass allows for up to four (4) free tickets to a performance at the Shakespeare Tavern. Or it can be used for four (4) free box seat tickets to a tiered seating performance.
All tickets redeemed using the Family Theatre Pass are for general admissions ONLY and may not be used for special events or food or beverages. Other restrictions may apply. Tickets are available on first-come, first-serve basis and may not be available for closing weekend performances or non-Atlanta Shakespeare Company productions, such as companies renting the Playhouse. Free tickets may not be transferred to someone else.
To reserve free tickets using the Pass, patrons must:
- Check out the Pass from your local library.
