What about your local branch's homepage? Each branch page highlights upcoming events, blogs and recommendation lists from your library staff.
While you're at it, why not go ahead and bookmark some of your favorite Digital Resources, like GALILEO or the New York Times code access page. For free New York Times access you need to request a new code every 48 hours. Make finding the code an easy step by adding the request page to your device.
