Book Review: I Am Enough, by Grace Byers

This gorgeously illustrated book teaches readers that they are unique and to love themselves, as themselves. This author uses metaphors as a tool to empower the reader, young and young at heart. Other life lessons taught were how to be a good student, how to win and lose, and how to appreciate the difference in others. As a young girl, I would have loved this book. One is never too young to hear that they are special, and that there is no one else like them on Earth, and we are all here for a reason. It is because of our differences that we are special. This book would be a great daily affirmation for young readers: I am enough.
