Book Review: The Sorority Murder by Allison Brennan

Looking for your next read? Check out The Sorority Murder by Allison Brennan, reviewed by Fulco Library staff, Meredith L.

Three years ago, Candice Swain’s body was found after being missing for two weeks. The suspected killer was never found. Lucas Vega is sure there is more to the story than what is public knowledge. He has decided to use his capstone project to produce a podcast to dig deeper into this campus mystery and hopefully find out what really happened to Candice Swain.

If you love true crime podcasts you will love this mystery. Brennan does an excellent job of jumping between the present and the past tying the two timelines seamlessly together. The pacing takes a little while to pick up but once it does it doesn’t stop until the satisfying conclusion. This title is available as a book, eBook, and digital audiobook.
