Milton Library hosts CRAFTer Dark, a monthly program geared toward adults. The goal is to provide programs that make art/crafts accessible to all skill levels in such a way that each participant produces a stunning piece, even with no prior experience.
In August, we waved goodbye to summer with one last sandy adventure at the beach! Our creative crew made a fun mixed media masterpiece—starting with acrylic paint to bring the sky and sand to life. Then came the splashy part: tearing up paper to build a collage of rolling ocean waves. For a bubbly finish, we dabbed on some white paint with bubble wrap to create frothy sea foam. And for those feeling extra artsy, permanent markers were on hand to add little beachy details like birds flying overhead!
