The CreativX Lab is back again at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center for the summer. This time, the program will be held on Wednesday from 11am to 1pm. For June, Mrs. Shana, the instructor, helped participants explore various avenues in technology, from AI to engineering.
For the first week, the participants made AI videos of themselves. Using Viggle AI, teens made funny dancing videos that transition from real life to an animated version of themselves.

In the second week, they built Bluetooth speakers. Building Bluetooth speakers has been successful in the past, and it’s proven to be a success again. After everyone’s Bluetooth speakers were assembled, the kids presented their speakers by playing their favorite songs.

Finally, in the third week, they made a photo booth. Using Lovable AI, the participants were able to code their own filters. In Canva, they designed their own borders. Notable examples were an Among Us-themed photo booth, a flowers theme, and a rainbow hearts theme. Afterwards, everyone took photos using the filters they created. To make it even more fun, Mrs. Shana brought fun costume accessories such as cowboy hats, sunglasses, and inflatable bats.

The next session will be on Wednesday, July 15th, from 11am to 1pm in the Best Buy Teen Tech Center. Come in and see what exciting activities CreativX Lab has in store.
