About Chanell Angeli:
Chanell Angeli Reyes is an Atlanta-based multidisciplinary artist and founder of Evelyn Rose Studios. Her work spans photography, mixed media fine art, and large-scale floral installation, often centering themes of lineage, Black femininity, and emotional inheritance.
Reyes’ work has been featured in film, gallery exhibitions, and public installations. Her practice blends fine art with immersive experience, creating environments that invite reflection, beauty, and communal connection.
Artist Statement:
“My work explores joy as inheritance, femininity as power, and memory as living material. Through photography, mixed media, florals, and immersive installation, I examine what it means to bloom in spaces not always built for us.
As a multidisciplinary artist based in Atlanta, my practice moves between softness and structure — yarn that becomes tears, flowers that become armor, and portraiture that reclaims the sacredness of Black womanhood.
I am drawn to themes of lineage, healing, and transformation. Whether through large-scale floral installations or intimate mixed-media works, I seek to create spaces where viewers feel both seen and expanded.
This exhibition brings together selected works from past collections, reflecting the evolution of my visual language and my ongoing meditation on beauty, resilience, and becoming.”
