As fall grows closer, come join us for a new month of programming at the Milton Library! Here’s some standout September programs coming up soon.

Special Storytime with Art It Out - Friday, September 5/12/19/26, 10:30-11:00am

This month we’ll be hosting a 6-week special storytime series with Alpharetta’s Art It Out Therapy Center! Topics will range from confidence-building, friendship skills, & emotional regulation. Registration required.

Meet William Carter, the Author of Getting Better - Saturday, September 6, 10:30am-12:30pm

Come hear author William Carter as he shares an incredible story of recovery from a life changing accident.

Live Music for Seniors with Gail Burnett - Tuesday, September 9, 10:30-11:30am

Gail Burnett will be joining us once again, this time to host interactive live music for seniors. Come sing, move around, and have a good time! Registration required.

Green Cleaning Workshop w/ Public Works - Tuesday, September 9, 1:00-2:00pm

The Department of Public Works will be presenting a Green Cleaning Workshop where you can learn to make your own DIY cleaning products from common household items. Registration required through the Public Works link on event page.

The Reading Collective - Wednesday, September 24, 4:15-5:00pm

For our teens out there, our Teen Advisory Board will be hosting a new high school book club called The Reading Collective. Come and discuss whatever your latest read is! No registration required.

Being Here Now: A Practical Approach to Everyday Mindfulness - Tuesday, September 30, 4:00-5:00pm

We’ll also be starting a 6-week program for adults regarding mindfulness, presented by Eve Wilson, MSW & True Center. This first session is called “Introduction to Mindfulness – The Power of Presence,” and there will be different topics every week. Registration recommended.
