This September, NESO transforms into Hexapeake Bay for World of Wonder, opens a new window! Our marine realm is a fantasy reimagining of Chesapeake Bay inspired by 90s and 2000s pop culture, featuring sea witches, mermaids, and other mythical water-dwelling creatures. We greatly enjoyed decorating our library with homemade decor and hand-picked seashells to capture this magical atmosphere, including a photo-op spot that has already been captured by children and adults alike. The fun continues outside the library with our staff-selected Hexapeake Bay playlist, opens a new window on Freegal and adult reading list that perfectly complements our aesthetic.
