MALCon 2026 at Milton Library: Guests! Part Three…
We’re thrilled to announce the return of MALCon (Milton-Area Library Convention)—our homegrown celebration of fandoms, creativity, and community! Inspired by beloved events like DragonCon, MomoCon, and AWA, MALCon brings the spirit of fan conventions to the heart of Milton and the setting of the Milton Library.
After a fantastic turnout at our inaugural event in 2019 and a record-breaking revival in 2025 with nearly 900 people stepping through the doors, we’re building something even bigger for MALCon 2026, happening on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 5:45 PM. The entire library will transform into a vibrant hub of panels, workshops, demos, fan and vendor tables, and interactive activities for all ages.
Special Guest Announcements Part Three
We’re excited to welcome an incredible lineup of professional guests to MALCon 2026:
WesTheDragon
WesTheDragon is a plus-size non-binary, Atlanta-based cosplayer. They have been cosplaying since 2016 and guesting at conventions since 2023. WesTheDragon uses their platform to advocate for body positivity and support all cosplayers in any way they can in the community.
Elizabeth Beckley
Elizabeth Beckley is a professional miniature painter and teacher with 10 plus years of experience in the board game industry. She works with companies like Atomic Mass Games to create box art for Marvel and Star Wars products. When she is not working, she enjoys reading fantasy novels and hiking.
Judy Black
Judy Black is a writer who makes her home in Atlanta, Ga. She loves games, books, cats, and most things with caffeine. She's an Ennie-nominated writer of Dungeons and Dragons modules such as Passel O'Possums; The Weal, Woe, and What of Fortune Telling, and many more.
Mondo Davis
Mondo Davis is a board game designer, developer, and content creator. Mondo has signed over 13 games with various publishers including Big Sur, Color Field, and Mansplaining. He spent two years as Senior Developer at Hobby Games at The Op, as the lead developer on games like Fountains, and Tea Witches. Mondo lives with his wife, daughters, and one obstinate fig tree on the east side of Atlanta.
Zaneta
I’m Zaneta (or Z). I’m a Nigerian graphic designer. My style reflects my chaotic energy at times, as each design is created based on a certain mood or genre. Through my designs, I want people to explore themselves and all their weird, creative interests and imaginations. Bubbly, mystical, introspective, and explorative are how I would describe most of my designs with a hint of pop culture.
Activities, Panels, and More
MALCon 2026 will also feature:
- Panels and workshops led by professionals, creators, and community groups
- Hands-on demos and creative showcases
- Fan and vendor tables representing a wide range of interests

We’re also welcoming back ASIFA-South, who will host a special workshop for tweens and teens (details coming soon), and Elizabeth Beckley, a professional miniature painter, who will run the Miniature Paint and Take area.
And don’t miss Ritterkunst Fechtschule-Canton, returning with live demonstrations of Medieval Martial Arts (HEMA), a thrilling look at historical swordplay and technique.
