September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and NESO celebrated with our youngest patrons at a special storytime! Our weekly storytimes on Wednesday mornings have become a family favorite at the branch, drawing a regular group of children and new faces every time! We love to see the kids make new friends and enjoy books together. To recognize the great community we have at NESO, we put together a special library-themed craft for the group based on the beloved Mo Willems' Pigeon series. These picture books are always popular with our patrons, and this week, our storytime group made their own pigeon to take home! We also invited patrons to share what they love about the library, and we enjoyed seeing nice responses such as "I love the librarians the best" and "Crafts, books, library friends." Thank you to our patrons for making NESO such a wonderful and welcoming library! Please join us in October for another special storytime.
