Prime Time Family Reading at Mechanicsville Library

Prime Time Family Reading brings caregivers and their six- to 10-year-old children together to explore notable books and big ideas through reading and discussion. At each session families will enjoy a dinner together, followed by a reading of children’s stories.

90-minute sessions in the evenings once per week on Tuesdays for six weeks starting on March 21 through May 2 at the Mechanicsville Library. No program on 04/04/23 due to Spring Break.

Includes complimentary books for families.

Storytellers read beautifully illustrated, award-winning children’s books filled with culturally diverse stories, folk tales, and historical accounts from around the world. Discussion leaders guide participants to personally connect with literature and think beyond who, what, when, and where with open-ended questions that inspire critical thinking.

Free for children ages six to 10 and parents, grandparents, or other caregivers. Registration is required. Please email meagan.stone@fultoncountyga.gov or call 404-613-6820 to register.
