READCamp with Malcolm Mitchell

FulcoLibrary is pleased to share a new partnership with Super Bowl Champion and Author Malcolm Mitchell!  As children prepare to get back into the (reading) groove at school and reading every day, we're partnering with READCamp to make sure all Fulton County youth are in great shape to take the reading field in the fall. 

What is READCamp?

READCamp 2022 is the Free Virtual Training Camp for Reading, featuring Head Coach: Super
Bowl Champion and Author Malcolm Mitchell. READCamp 2022 challenges and motivates kids to
read over the summer and as they head back to school by offering a unique training camp
atmosphere for reading. READCamp is fun, exciting, and rewarding. Students who read 8 books
during READCamp become READCamp Champions and students who read 12 books during
READCamp become READCamp MVPs. This free virtual reading challenge helps kids get in great
shape to take the reading field in the fall - and most of all, they enjoy doing it!

IMPORTANT: The Fulton County Library branch with the most READCamp registrations will win
a Read Aloud with Super Bowl Champion and Author Malcolm Mitchell!

ABOUT SHARE THE MAGIC FOUNDATION:
Malcolm Mitchell considers a love of reading to be his greatest achievement. In 2016, he founded
Share the Magic Foundation with a sole purpose: to transform children’s lives through literacy.
Children who struggle to read often drop out of school, live in poverty, and end up in jail.
Malcolm grew up with similar challenges, had his life re-directed by reading, and went on to win
a Super Bowl. Our Read with Malcolm Literacy Programs are designed to inspire kids to read in
an innovative and engaging format.
