SRP ’25 is OTW☀️🎨

Summer Reading is on the way and this year's theme is Color Our World! Think color, art, magic and brilliant imagination. We’re getting ready for summer and registration is open for all readers interested in the Summer Reading Program. Readers this year will have the chance to earn up to 15 badges on their Beanstack account. (New to Beanstack? Ask a librarian or check out a quick 101 guide here.) 

Here's how to earn: 

1. Reading Badges – Read a book and earn a badge. Simple as that! Make sure to log your reading on Beanstack, and for every book you log you’ll earn a badge. 📚  
2. Activity Badges – This year there are three different activity badges. Attend one of the numerous library programs – like Northside’s Monday Matinees or Adult Trivia Night 😉 to earn your first. For another, check out one of the partnership passes like the Atlanta History Center Pass or the Mimms Museum of Technology and Art. And finally, read a book from a recommended list, either posted by one of our patrons or by a staff member.  
3. Review Badges – Remember those eight books you’re totally tackling this summer? Post a review for two of those eight and earn two badges. You can post a review through Beanstack, after you’ve logged your reading. ✔️ 
4. Challenge Badges – Last but not least, there are two challenge badges to earn. The first you gain simply by registering for the Summer Reading Program. The second is awarded for completing by the end of the summer. 🎉

Over the summer, Northside patrons should also come in to the branch to let us know how much you are reading!

Here at Northside, kids will get to put their name up on the window and add stickers for every ten books. Everyone completing their summer reading will earn a small branch prize from us (while supplies last). Also, the more you read, the more chances you get to win a spiffy prize.  We have drawings for kids, teens, and adults! But you have to come see us at the branch!

Jump over to Beanstack and make sure you’re registered to get started! Registration starts May 1st. The reading challenge starts June 1 and that's when you can start to log your books.
