The Best Buy Teen Tech Center is all about forging career paths for our youth. One way we push this initiative is through our Technology Day programs in the Springtime. Every last Monday from January through April 2025, teens continued to build upon the skills and tools learned through the Career & Job Readiness Workshops. We had volunteers from Best Buy and Tech Teens Inc, a local youth-serving non-profit, teach hands-on workshops about essential skills and techniques for exceeding job interviews and being a stellar employee or business owner.
Teens were particularly excited for this program because we announce the Teen Tech of the Month at the end of the workshop. Each month, we observe the teens and select one who we feel has shined the brightest through project completion, attendance, individuality, and dedication to elevating their self and the culture of the Best Buy Teen Tech Center. The teen who is selected is presented with a prize from our partners and has their photo along with their completed projects displayed near the entrance of the Teen Center. Teen Tech of the Month returns this spring beginning Monday, January 26th at 4:00 PM. Teens are eligible for selection and are officially a member of our club after completing five projects.
