Earlier in June, Rainbowsky the Clown hosted a storytime program in the children's department at Central Library as a part of the system-wide Summer Reading Program. She sat with the kids in the storytime corner on the 4th floor and read them her very own story about her first performance with her clown family. This story teaches kids about hard work and perseverance when facing new challenges. During and after the storytime, Rainbowsky asked questions to help kids learn about key story elements, such as the protagonist, setting, and more. Afterward, everyone played Limbo and Red Light-Green Light and concluded with a dance party and photo session. Check out all the fun everyone had in the photos below (click to enlarge).
