On July 8, 2026, Deborah Strahorn performed at the Central Library for the system-wide Summer Reading Program. She prepared various dinosaur-themed stories and props and even her very own book (the first she ever wrote!). Deborah Strahorn is not an ordinary performer! She uses every inch of space, every limb and breath in her body, and every prop she crafts in order to bring stories to life. From older kids to tiny babies, she meets everyone where they are (literally) for ultimate engagement, entertainment, and education throughout her performance. When time permits, she imparts reading and storytelling techniques for more effective and enjoyable reading experiences for the kids and parents/caregivers. Check out all of the fun everyone had in the photos below (click to enlarge).
