ATLANTA, GA – Fulton County Government and the Fulton County Library System (FulcoLibrary) are proud to announce a vibrant new cultural partnership with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta. To mark this collaboration, a kickoff event will be held on Monday, May 18th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Library in downtown Atlanta.
This initiative aims to foster international friendship and cultural exchange through the power of literature, technology, and culinary arts. The one-hour event is free and open to the public, offering attendees a unique window into Taiwanese heritage and modern innovation.
Highlights of the kickoff event include:
Official Book Donation: A curated selection of Taiwanese literature and educational resources will be presented to the Fulton County Library System to expand the diversity of the local collection.
Boba Tea Tasting: Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy authentic bubble tea, a world-famous beverage originating from Taiwan.
Virtual Reality (VR) Experience: Attendees can immerse themselves in "Taiwan Mini-Documentaries" through high-tech VR headsets, exploring the
island’s stunning landscapes and vibrant city life.
