An Evening with Kenan Thompson and Monica Pearson at the Central Library!

On February 11th, the Central Library buzzed with excitement and laughter as it welcomed the funny and talented comedian Kenan Thompson. Families and visitors came together for a special event to celebrate his first children's book, "Unfunny Bunny."

The event was hosted by the lively Monica Pearson, a well-known journalist and news anchor. She kept the audience engaged with her friendly demeanor and thoughtful questions.

When Kenan took the stage, his humor and charm lit up the room. He shared stories about how he came up with the idea for "Unfunny Bunny," a fun book that explores what it means to be funny or, as the title suggests, unfunny. His storytelling style was animated and engaging, capturing the attention of both kids and adults.

During the event, Kenan invited children to share their own “unfunny” stories, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with laughter and connection among everyone present.

One of the most exciting parts of the day was the book signing, where families eagerly lined up for a chance to meet Kenan, take photos, and get their copies of "Unfunny Bunny" signed. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on the kids' faces as they interacted with someone they looked up to.

This event celebrated not just a new book, but also the magic of storytelling and how laughter can bring people together. Kenan's energy and his genuine connection with the audience made it a memorable experience for everyone involved.

A big thank you to Kenan Thompson for sharing his joy and creativity with us, and to Monica Pearson for her wonderful hosting. We look forward to more fantastic events at the Central Library in the future.
