Former first daughter’s Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush provide young readers with a well-written picture book on sisterhood. It is available as an audiobook on eRead Kids.

Sister’s First is an adventure story about a young girl who is lonely for a little sister and wishes that she be nice, kind, and smart. Her wish is granted, but she is a little disappointed at first because her new sister can’t do much. However, they become inseparable as they grow older. They sing, dance, and become partners in crime. Throughout the story, the relationship of sisters is emphasized and how they love and support each other like no one else.

This is a must-read for all sisters out there and especially in the spring & summer when you will have many exciting adventures with them.
