It's the time of year to take out your sewing machines, yarn, and glue dots and get creative! March is National Craft Month which means that you are encouraged to continue or start a new craft project this month. You can even learn something new with the resources from the Digital Library!
By March, I typically have a few unfinished projects lying around, but I am also usually planning a few new things as well. This year I am planning to make a quilt (or maybe two!) and I have been gathering information about techniques, patterns, sewing machines, etc. Checking out quilting books from Hoopla, Overdrive/Libby, and the Palace Project have been helpful in this stage of planning out my first solo quilt. If you are looking for ideas or want to fine tune your skills, check out the free classes on Creativebug.
