Celebrating Sisterhood with Deborah Roberts and Rose Scott at the Central Library

On February 13th, the Central Library welcomed award-winning journalist Deborah Roberts to the stage to share insights from her latest book, "Sisters: Loved and Treasured."

Moderated by the talented Rose Scott from WABE, the event offered attendees a unique opportunity to engage with Roberts and delve into the themes of sisterhood and relationships that resonate deeply in her writing.

The first 200 attendees were greeted with a complimentary copy of Deborah's new book! During the conversation, Roberts captivated the crowd with her heartfelt tales and reflections, sharing personal anecdotes that connected the audience to the essence of what it means to be a sister, a friend, and a valued member of the community.
