Lights, Cameras, Action!
LP Foundation visits the Best Buy Teen Tech Center to teach kids how to produce films. Through the program, kids create a production company. This involves identifying their target audience and defining the company’s focus, enhancing their business and creative thinking. Additionally, instructors present real-world scenarios to challenge the teens' critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Once a group had their production company prepared, they were ready to start filming. One group recreated a scene from ‘Everybody Hates Chris’, and the other group made a short film about themselves going on an adventure. As a final touch, they used ChatGPT to animate themselves.

Ultimately, this program equips teens with a deeper understanding of the film industry’s structure and production planning. They gain key skills in teamwork, creative decision-making, and AI. LP Foundation will be coming back to the Best Buy Teen Tech Center for the Beats, Rhythm, and Kids program on July 7 and the Design District program on July 17. If you're a teen interested in music or fashion design, these programs are for you!
