Homeschool S.T.E.A.M. Day with We Create Tech: The Living Library

For the October Homeschool S.T.E.AM. Day program, the teens built upon their coding and engineering skills and brought to life reimagined scenes from a book. They started by selecting their favorite book and hand-drawing or prompting for their reimagined scene.

Then, they learned about circuits and uploaded their scenes into the instructor's program. Next, the teens assembled their Makey Make circuits and programmed different regions of their scene to make specific sounds. They could choose between preloaded sounds in the instructor's program or their own original recorded sounds.

Once the sounds were programmed to the regions, everyone shared their project with the class.
