Librarians are always posting new content, so it can be easy to miss something like the Always Available Charles Dickens Author Sampler posted at the beginning of December, or you might have forgotten what page you saw the list that lets you Skip ahead in line on Overdrive/Libby with these popular titles. Using the explore link will help you get back to those lists you missed, and if you can't find what you're looking for there, trying the Instantly Available page is often a good bet. Of course, the previous Digital Library News post with instructions on how to favorite lists and follow list creators can help you add lists you like to your library dashboard and get alerts when your favorite list creators post content. While lists on the library website often stay up for a long time and get updated, lists on Overdrive and the Libby app are often quite temporary! The lists in Overdrive and the Libby app often rotate to highlight seasonal collections, like the Nice or Naughty which has over five hundred titles of mystery and romance with holiday themes. Nice or Naughty and Holiday How To lists will be leaving our Overdrive and Libby app pages just after New Year's. When a collection disappears on Overdrive and the Libby app, don't worry! That's just the library keeping our collections on the page fresh, and these collections rotate just like the physical book displays at library branches.
If you're not in a holiday mood but just want to discover a new author, try our collection Debut Authors of 2023. The Debut Author collection will remain active through the first half of January, but will move down the main landing page of Overdrive and the Libby app as newer content is featured. We hope all our lists and collections keep you entertained as you explore our library holdings this holiday season and in the new year.
