Prepare for Memorial Day Weekend With Digital Library Resources

It's just two weeks until Memorial Day weekend, and if your family is fully vaccinated, that might mean your first big get-together since quarantine!

Use our many online resources to prepare for the event by checking out a cookbook from Overdrive and the Libby app. Barbeque, side dishes, desserts and more are there to explore.

Make an Infinity Apron with Creative Bug to keep those delicious sauces off your clothes, or sew a reversible table runner to set the scene.

Looking for something more meaningful to help celebrate Memorial Day? Use Fold 3 to research your family military records. You can download and print Grandpa's draft card or enlistment papers, and roll and wrap the printed records with a ribbon or cord Roll for a Memorial Day family gift. If you're feeling crafty, paste the printed record into a fold card, decorate with washi tape or have the kids make popsicle stick frames as a Memorial Day activity.
