Summer Reading Starts Now (Kinda)

Patrons — It's close to our favorite time of the year: the Summer Reading Program (SRP)! Every year, we invite you to participate by reading and logging the books you enjoy between June and July for the chance to discover new favorites, revisit old ones, improve reading skills, access great events & win awesome prizes. While we won't start until June, May is the perfect time to get ahead by registering at Beanstack to make sure the the whole family can participate.

This year's theme is Unearth a Story. Think dinosaurs, archaeology, local history and adventure. Dig into good books, uncover secret histories, and explore a wide array of stories. If you're not sure how to start, check out these links below for help:

  • Fulton County Library Summer Reading Homepage: For access to county-wide events and reading lists for all ages.
  • Beanstack: Sign-in (or sign-up) to start tracking your reading. This is how you'll log books to earn prizes and badges.

Here's a quick refresher of the Beanstack app:

Once you join the Summer 2026 challenge, Beanstack will tell you how many books you have to read to earn your badges. Make sure to check out the activity, review & challenge badges as well! (Remember: You don't have to just read for badges. Virtual tours and partnership passes await!) Don't wait — stomp over to Beanstack today so you can hit the ground running in June! 🦕
