CreativX Lab with We Create Tech has wrapped up for the summer. For July, Mrs. Shana, the instructor, would introduce a wide range of tech to the kids.
For the first session, the group focused on creating AI games. Using their imagination and Loveable AI, the kids created their own games by writing prompts. Notable examples included a cupcake game and a space-themed game.

For the last session of the summer, the kids divided into stations focusing on different areas of tech. There were 4 stations: a solar-powered mini car, circuit building, and Lego building. Taking turns at each station, the kids all gathered useful knowledge.

After assembling the solar-powered car, the group went outside to test whether the car worked. At first, the kids tried using studio lights, hoping it would be enough to power the car on. Unfortunately, the studio lights weren’t bright enough. Luckily, the sun came out just in time, and the class was able to power on the mini car. Ultimately, this marked a great end to the summer, and we hope to see the kids back during the school year.

However, this isn’t the last of We Create Tech at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center because we still have Homeschool S.T.E.A.M. Day on the second Wednesday of each month. The first Homeschool S.T.E.A.M Day will start on August 12 at 11 a.m. Come by the Best Buy Teen Tech Center and have fun with We Create Tech!
