As I traveled this weekend around metro Atlanta and into the South Georgia area, smiling faces greeted me without hesitation. People of all ages, races and ethnicities were out and about in the awesome sunshine. All of them seemed to be extremely happy just to be outside and going places. Some of them commented on that fact with a sense of pure joy. It was as if we were all in a Sci-Fi movie emerging from cocoons.
With that same emotion, I hope you are having a great weekend. Let’s remember, as we observe Memorial Day, the brave men and women who served in our military and gave the ultimate sacrifice .
