The last quarter of this year has arrived. School started again; those almost limitless days of summer seem to have waned much too soon. Also, although fall weather seems to have arrived with a blast of wind and water in some places; or of cold air for some of us, we should still look forward to old things and, perhaps a few new ones.
The Library’s employees stand ready to assist you. You also have 24/7 access to numerous online resources on the website, fulcolibrary.org
One thing that many of you may be looking forward to is Halloween. Well, the libraries are packed with all sorts of tales of the macabre, packed with ghosts and goblins. Come in and read, or check out some scary, classical literature by Edgar Allen Poe. Leave the library with your favorite horror movie or books. Get scared! Of course, for those of you who turn away from the frightful, there are so many other choices. Come in and let us suggest something that will suit your reading fancy.
Additionally, this is the time of year to begin thinking about de-cluttering and decorating for the holidays; and deciding on recipes for meals to share at great gatherings of family and friends. Your local library is filled with books to assist you, as you plan.
Finally, speaking of planning, stay tuned for new happenings all around the Library System as we move through the fourth quarter of 2022 and set our sights on blazing trails in 2023. We’ll keep you posted!
