This past summer, the Best Buy Teen Tech Center hosted an 8-week audio/video (A/V) camp where high school students could gain professional training on equipment used on film sets, concert venues, music videos, and more. Central Library's in-house A/V technician provided both lectures and hands-on workshops for everyone to learn and explore equipment, concepts, and techniques. Since the summer camp was designed to provide training and experience for the entertainment industry, it was only open to teens eligible to work in the state of Georgia (16-18); but the Fall camp is open to high school students ages 13-18! The first class begins on Monday, September 28th at 4:00 PM in the Best Buy Teen Tech Center. Participants are not required to attend every week, but it is encouraged.
