Unearthing Bilingual Stories with Lingual Kids

Lingual Kids performed at the Central Library in late July as a part of the system-wide Summer Reading program. Lingual Kids is a local organization that brings language learning, excitement, and fun to children in the Atlanta Metropolitan area. They offer classes, tutoring, and special programs for younger kids to learn Spanish and Mandarin. Kids at the Central Library got to listen and participate in a bilingual storytime program where they sang songs and read stories in Mandarin and Spanish. They learned basic phrases, danced, and sang. Afterward, there was a craft program. Check out all of the fun everyone had in the photos below (click to enlarge).
