Central welcomes Kamille Mayes and Hannah Hendricks to Central Artist Corner. Kamille is a visual artist based in metro- Atlanta and recent graduate of Georgia State University. She earned her Bachelors of Art degree in Studio Art with a focus in Animation and New Media. Her work relies on the use of portrait art, screen printing, and animation. In each painting Mayes combines two or three mediums to create pieces with layers of depth and meaning as she explores topics that focus on family history and animated narrative stories.
Hannah Hendricks is a multi-disciplinary artist from the metro- Atlanta area. She graduated from Georgia Southern State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art. Her work uses a variety of mediums to discuss topics such as sustainability and women's healthcare. She has exhibited artwork overseas several times in countries such as China and England and has had her artwork featured in several publications.
